RealHero ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our website and services. By using RealHero, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who we are
RealHero is a software product designed for real estate salespersons (RES) in Singapore. Our registered contact for privacy matters is hello@realhero.sg.
2. What information we collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, and agency affiliation when you sign up or register interest.
- WhatsApp Business data: when you connect your WhatsApp Business account, we access your conversation data solely to power RealHero's CRM features — extracting listings, contacts, and deal opportunities. We do not read, store, or share the content of your personal conversations beyond what is needed for this purpose.
- Usage data: how you interact with the RealHero platform, including features used and actions taken, to improve our product.
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security and performance purposes.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the RealHero service
- To send you product updates, onboarding communications, and support messages
- To improve and develop our product based on usage patterns
- To comply with legal obligations
- To contact you about your account or your early access reservation
We will never sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.
4. WhatsApp Business integration
RealHero integrates with WhatsApp Business via the official WhatsApp Business Platform API. When you connect your account, you authorise RealHero to receive and process message data to identify deal opportunities, contacts, and listings. This data is processed securely and is never shared with other users, third parties, or your agency without your explicit consent.
You can disconnect your WhatsApp Business account at any time from within the RealHero settings. Upon disconnection, we will cease processing new message data immediately.
5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorised RealHero personnel only.
We are committed to retaining your data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
6. Sharing your information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the platform (such as email delivery, hosting, and analytics), under strict confidentiality agreements. Current sub-processors include:
- Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC) — email communications
- WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta Platforms Inc.) — messaging integration
7. Your rights
Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and applicable laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Withdraw consent for data use (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)
- Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal obligations

8. Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies for basic functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
9. Children's privacy
RealHero is intended for professional use by adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and notify registered users by email. Continued use of RealHero after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
